Vibration analysis is used to determine the overall inner conditions of spindle bearings and help determine when a spindle will fail.  Many factors involving machine tool spindle machining or grinding operations can shorten spindle life and cause premature failure. Often spindle failures are catastrophic if not monitored closely with preventative maintenance.  This causes increased down time and more severely damaged inner spindle components which extends the lead time for spindles to be rebuilt and put back into production.  PBM can help extend your spindle life through our PM Services, on-site balancing and determine when your spindles need to pulled out of production before catastrophic failures occur.
